Dr. Shirmin Bintay Kader, Research investigators and Field Principal Investigator of GEOHealth HAP study has received scholarship for Masters in Community and Population Health Sciences from University of Saskatchewan for the 2021-22 session.

Shyfuddin Ahmed, Assistant Scientist, Initiative for NCD, HSPSD has been selected as the PhD candidate at the Florida International University. He is doing PhD concentrating in cancer epidemiology.

Dr. Sabrina Ahmed, Research Investigator, Initiative for NCD, HSPSD has recently obtained doctoral fellowship (PhD) awarded by The Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture, which is also known as (MEXT/ Monbukagusho) scholarship provided by Japanese government. This is the most prestigious scholarship offered by Japan government. She will leave for Japan in September and will be pursuing PhD in NCD research epidemiology. She was a D71 fellow.
2018
Dr. Kamrun Nahar Koly, Assistant Scientist, Initiative for Non Communicable Diseases has been awarded the “Chevening Award”, this prestigious scholarship is given by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) of British Government. She will be pursing her MSC in Global Mental Health in Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) based at Kings College London. She is also a D71 fellow.
